On many request including mine :P I present the Origin version of Battlefield 1942!! This game was until may last your for quite a while a free to play game, but now gone in the database! I was so disappointed because I finally have this working as I wanted and now the game is gone. Luckily I had it already added to my account, but what about multi-player? Because I can only login once in Origin with one account?! Well, luckily I found a solution. First I created another Origin account (the easy part). Then second I tried adding a CD serial of a legal copy I bought in the past, and guess what? It worked! So you can add your old CD serial of Battlefield 1942 in Origin and it will add the game in your account!

I've been looking for a downloadable version of this forever, but that doesn't seem like it exists anymore. While I disagree with the decision to remove it since the game can be played in singleplayer, I still want to find a version I can buy and download without having to buy a physical copy and pay for shipping. In Battlefield 1942, you will experience the heat of battle as you heroically storm the beaches of Normandy, drive a tank across the deserts of northern Africa, pilot a fighter plane during the Battle of Midway, command a battleship at Guadalcanal, or parachute and commandeer a jeep in operation Market Garden. It is the only first person, team-based action game that places you in the midst of. Battlefield 1942 is a first-person shooter video game developed by Digital Illusions Creative Entertainment and published by Electronic Arts for Microsoft Windows and Mac OS X.The game can be played in single-player mode against the video game AI or in multiplayer mode against players on the Internet or in a local area network.It is a popular platform for mod developers, with many released.

So I downloaded the Battlefield 1942 game but it kept installing (One of the only annoying bugs), but you can easily fix this by quiting Origin (after a few minutes to be sure), and then login again and then you are able to launch the game without problems. BUT, before you launch you have to do one more thing…Go to your preferences of Origin and turn off “ingame Origin”. If you don’t do that, the game will freeze at launch. So make sure this is turned off , also when playing any other game in Origin. Then click play to start the fun!!!

Multi-player: Yes, this is possible. Hook up with a couple of friends in Hamachi and create a LAN game and join each-others multi-player games. The Video below will show you that as well! Enjoy!
